SPEAKERS:

PATRICK MADRID is the editor of Envoy Magazine, a journal of Catholic apologetics and evangelization. His books include Search and Rescue, Pope Fiction, Where Is That In the Bible?, and Why Is That In Tradition?, and the multi-volume Surprised by Truth series, which he contributed to and edited. Patrick is also the host of four EWTN television series: "Pope Fiction," and "The Truth About Scripture and Tradition." Patrick and his wife Nancy have been blessed by God with eleven happy and healthy children (and two grandchildren). As a kid, he had aspirations of someday being a Haitian dictator, but a "C" average in high school shattered that dream. Today, however, he exerts his glorious leadership as Envoy magazine's Benevolent Dictator for Life.

TIM STAPLES is a full-time evangelist and Director of Evangelization at the Catholic Resource Center. Tim was raised a Baptist and was an Assembly of God Youth Minister before he met a fellow Marine who knew how to defend the Catholic Faith. He soon became convinced that the Catholic Church was indeed the Church started by Christ. Since his conversion he has given hundreds of talks and helped thousands of Catholics find their way back home. Tim can speak extensively on every Catholic issue and is especially effective in apologetics, bible study, Mary, and the Eucharist.

CAROLYN BABER was baptized and confirmed a Missouri Synod Lutheran. She left college early to marry and later achieved success in sales, marketing, and the investment field. Carolyn enjoyed many worldly benefits, including a six-figure income. She shares how God called her to prayerful study to help her overcome her anti-Catholic bias, and lead her to find true fulfillment as she discovered the full revelation of Jesus Christ in the Holy Catholic Church. Married 23 years, Carolyn and husband Daniel have two daughters and one grandchild.
